Our Digital learning journey at ACC & Ambuja, - A Brick & Mortar to Netflix-like experience.
We first experimented with digital learning in 2018. We were a bit apprehensive and hesitant. “How would a brick and mortar” industry adjust to digital learning. Most of our employees and managers preferred Instructor-led classroom courses. Bringing in this shift took us some effort, a lot of convincing, perseverance & faith. We realized that we had to network- crowdsource – make the manager and the learner become the owner of learning rather than the Academy! We needed to give up a lot of old beliefs – ways of work – and give back the controls to the learner. When our employees realized that learning was centered around their learning preferences and styles and took into account their primary competencies and catered to their learning aspirations, our usage shot up. Today 95 %of our management staff are registered users on SAIL.
Through SAIL our learning experience platform, brought to us by I COG- we have reached out to more learners with relevant and enriching content keeping them engaged. In short, we have created interesting content for the learner, byte size learning, and videos and also aligned with the organization's objective in delivering the course contents for high learning impact. We have successfully launched certification courses with assessment, mandatory courses, e-learning courses as per business requirements.
